Tool Description: Our stainless steel spherical knob cutter is an extremely precise, fine cutting tool. The spherical blades allows for the ideal combination of strength and precision, making for a clean 'biting action' into the material. These cutters are designed to cut cleanly into the trunk and branches, and are also ideal for reducing knobs, lumps, or branch stubs. The spherical cutter-head allows for a precise cut, minimizing damage to the surrounding area. The spherical blades create a very strong tool.

Series Guide: This tool is offered in 3 different sizes. Please choose the series of tool that fits your needs:

Series 7: Our smaller, Series 7 tools, are the ideal size for smaller bonsai material and detailed work.
Standard Issue: The Standard Issue tools are the ideal size for the more common sized bonsai material.
Series 11: The Series 11 tools are meant for bonsai artists working with larger material requiring a heavy duty tool.

I recently purchased this tool to build my Bonsai tool set, I haven't got to use it yet. But I am sure if it performs like the concave cutter I ordered it will be nothing less than perfect. The build quality like I stated in my other tool review, this above the quality level of other types of tools that you can only purchase from a tool truck, amazing! The finish is immaculate and very impressive looking.
